The practical questions.
Devices, setup, wireless connections and paying for Mirro.
Does Mirro depend on Apple’s iPhone Mirroring?
No. Mirro uses its own connection and control workflow. It is intended as an independent option for European users, and does not require Apple’s iPhone Mirroring feature. Your device setup still needs to meet Mirro’s requirements.
Which Mac and iPhone do I need?
The current Mac build requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14.4 or later. The guided iPhone setup targets iOS 26 or later and requires Trust, Developer Mode and compatible developer services. A broader iPhone compatibility list has not yet been established. Use the trial to confirm your exact combination before buying.
What does the first connection involve?
Connect your unlocked iPhone with a USB data cable, accept Trust on the phone, and follow Mirro’s guide to enable Developer Mode. Developer Mode can require a restart and confirmation on the iPhone. Mirro then prepares the connection services. Initial setup downloads need internet access. Read the setup guide.
Does my iPhone need to be unlocked?
Keep the iPhone unlocked during setup and use. Mirro does not promise the locked-phone behavior of Apple’s iPhone Mirroring. Device locking, protected content and secure fields can interrupt the picture or restrict control.
Can I use it over Wi-Fi?
Yes, after the first USB pairing and setup, Mirro can use the saved Apple-network pairing on the same Wi-Fi network. Wireless availability depends on the phone, network and service state. Keep a cable nearby for pairing or recovery; this is not remote access over the internet.
Does my screen go through a server?
The mirrored screen travels over the local connection between your Mac and iPhone. Mirro does not relay your screen through a video server. Setup downloads, license activation and checkout use online services. See the privacy policy.
How does the ten-minute trial work?
You get ten minutes of cumulative connected use, remembered across app restarts. Setup and disconnected time do not count. When the trial ends, activate a license to keep mirroring. Try the apps and connection you care about before paying.
Is the price a subscription?
No. The tentative price is €14.99 for a lifetime license, paid once. The license has no scheduled expiry. It does not promise every future major upgrade, perpetual support or compatibility with every future iOS release. Final price, taxes and purchase terms will be shown before checkout opens.
How will I activate a purchase?
Checkout is not open yet. When it is available, Lemon Squeezy will email a license key. In Mirro, open Settings → License → Enter license key. Initial activation needs internet access; saved activation can work offline, with online validation when available.
Can I move my license to another Mac?
Mirro includes a deactivation control so you can release an activation before moving to another Mac. The number of Macs included will be confirmed on the purchase page before checkout opens.
Will every iPhone app work?
There is no promise that every app or field will work. Protected video can prevent capture, and secure fields or individual apps can restrict input. Operating-system updates can also affect the connection. The trial is there to check the things you actually use.
