QUICK SETUP GUIDE

Start with a cable.

The first connection involves Trust, Developer Mode and a few preparation steps. Mirro guides you through them.

01

Install on your Mac.

Open Mirro and choose Get started. If prompted, choose Set up this Mac to install the connection components.

Good to know

You need internet access for the initial downloads. The components stay in Mirro’s Application Support folder. Normal setup does not require Homebrew or the full Xcode app.

02

Connect and trust your iPhone.

Use a USB data cable. Unlock the iPhone, choose Connect my iPhone in Mirro, and accept Trust on the phone when asked.

Good to know

A charging-only cable cannot establish the connection. Keep the iPhone unlocked and leave only the phone you want to use connected for the first setup.

03

Enable Developer Mode.

Follow the guide to Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode. Restart and confirm on the iPhone if prompted.

Good to know

If Mirro offers Prepare iPhone, review the prompt to prepare compatible developer services. Repair is a separate recovery action. Compatible Xcode may help if the guided preparation cannot complete.

04

Start mirroring.

When your iPhone’s picture appears, choose Start mirroring. You can now use the mouse, trackpad and keyboard on your Mac.

Good to know

The trial counts cumulative connected use and remembers it across restarts. Setup and disconnected time do not count. Try the apps and controls you expect to use before purchasing.

05

Then try Wi-Fi.

Choose Try wireless, keep both devices on the same Wi-Fi network, and follow the app’s guidance before unplugging the cable.

If the picture does not return, reconnect USB. A working cable connection is the place to start before troubleshooting wireless.
